Highlights of the Week (March 25, 2022)

The Daily Stack is now part of the Substack community, a newsletter site that has become the hub for creators to share their unfiltered ideas via free and paid subscription models. One that caught my eye this week was The Unpublishable, a former beauty editor's musings on the alleged toxicity of the beauty industry. The author, Jessica Defino, saw a considerable uptick in readers after her tweet about working for the Kardashians went viral. The beauty of this newsletter (pun intended) is that it doesn't rely on advertising dollars from the same beauty companies it covers.
